Privacy policy

Last updated 19 October 2026.

Summary

Sleevemix has no user database. When you sign in with Spotify, your session is kept in an encrypted cookie in your own browser. We use your Spotify data only to build and save playlists you ask for.

What we access on Spotify

When you sign in, you give Sleevemix permission to:

  • Read your Spotify display name, profile picture and user ID, to show who is signed in.
  • Read your top artists and tracks, when you choose the Blend or My taste options.
  • Create playlists in your account, add tracks to them and set their cover image.
  • Save playlists to your library when you press Save to library.

We never post anything, follow anyone or change existing playlists without you asking.

What we store

  • A session cookie with your Spotify access token, refresh token, display name, profile picture and user ID. It is encrypted, can only be read by our server, and expires after 30 days or when you sign out.
  • Generated track lists are not stored. They exist only in your browser until you save them to Spotify.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't build profiles of individual visitors.

Third parties

  • Spotify handles sign-in, and its player is embedded on playlist pages.
  • Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.

Removing access

Sign out to delete the session cookie. To remove Sleevemix's access to your Spotify account completely, go to your Spotify account settings and remove the app. Playlists you have saved stay in your Spotify library.
